The Barbary lion is extinct in the wild but there are around 100 of them in captivity. Twelve of them were born at Keystone Safari/Animal Treasures animal parks in western Pa. Enjoy

Superb shots. I would love to scratch that big fellow (#1) behind the ears but I would probably lose a hand in doing so. However, it could become safe to do... someday:

]You're not alone, I too would love to hug that little cub. I'm lucky though, the animal park is only two miles from my house and I get to visit the critters all the time.
