My favorite scouting grounds have been under flood water for months this year and are now starting to recover. I took a walk through the thickets with the small mirrorless camera and lens with extension tubes and took a few shots.
Now that I know that conditions are favorable I can resume my regular scouting for natures critters going about their daily business among the beauty of the wildflowers. We have a bit over a month before fall set in and the mosquitoes become unbearable there frantic for a chance at their last meals with me on their menu.
As always, thanks in advance to all who view and for your comments, suggestions, questions and critique.
Nice change for you, sippy.
Thanks kpmac, I have to get out and stretch my legs from time to time. Although I enjoy walking the thickets my basement area is nice and cool and a cup of coffee or a brew is just a few steps away.
It is good you are getting out again before summer ends Gary, we don't want you fading away in your cellar through lack of Vitamin D. An interesting selection of subjects to find in one go, well done.
Very good! I am glad you are back out there.
Nice series, great photo of the grasshopper. Thanks for sharing.
