Anyone use PPA Sky Swap

Was considering buy PPA Sky Swap and wondering if anyone uses it and what they think of it. I've watched and tried various methods but often find they don't work well. Hoping to find something automated that does a good job 80% of the time. Any feedback appreciated.

I use Landscape Pro and am happy with it. Think they have a free trial offer

I have used landscape pro and it did a good job. I just don't agree with replacement of the sky in an image. I will wait for the sky to happen even if it requires multiple visits to the same location.

That's what I do if the sky is nearby. However, if the sky is uncooperative 1,000 miles away, well, sky replacement to the rescue!

Landscape pro is my favorite for skies and skies are the feature I most often composite.

Is Landscape Pro a plug-in or stand alone?

I use it as a stand alone, but it works both ways.

Both. I use it primarily as a plug in

That philosophy is perfectly fine unless you're on a travel expedition and will never have the opportunity for a "second chance".

Sorry, I totally misunderstood your question. I thought you were asking about any experience with a sky replacement program. I am probably responsible for leading this discussion in the wrong direction. I know nothing about PPA Sky Swap. In fact I've never heard about it until today. Again, sorry.

Good for you, but not the issue here. Whatever the reasons, set aside, the question was, which software does a good job easily for a certain task!

I think the OP was even more specific than that. She wanted to know how PPA Sky Swap worked.
