I guess you missed the subtle sarcasm, Elaine.

I did NOT tell YOU to NOT criticize my PM, and I never said AMERICANS should NOT criticize a CANADIAN leader. If Trudeau has done something wrong, something stupid, or something illegal, then he should pay the price. Of course, I hope you did notice that, unlike the Orange Buffoon, Trudeau DID apologize and showed remorse for his actions of many years ago.

What I DID ask is that YOU tell your cronies to stop criticizing my PM. I even gave you the reason -- they don't have a vote in Canada. Isn't that the essence of the sermon that you have been preaching for months now?

After this thread, if you EVER tell me to not criticize Trump because I don't have a vote in the US you will be demonstrating hypocrisy big-time.

Whoa.......if you want something stated, YOU state it. I am not here to do your bidding so get over that little fantasy. You can say whatever you want, it doesn't matter, you do not vote in the US. Canadians talking about a US election makes zero difference. Don't you get that? Does it make a canadian feel good to criticize the US? I do not understand your involvement at all, but I am not required to. If you are not taken seriously, it isn't my concern.

I really don't know ANY Americans that would presume to tell a canadian how they should vote, NOR SHOULD THEY. It isn't our business who you elect.

How about you operating by your own rules??? "You have NO BUSINESS criticizing the leader of another country because you have no vote, and no one cares about your opinion." [Note: not an exact quote.]

Sound familiar? Do I have to give you the links to your posts?

I think what YOUR leader did was nothing and half of your party is trying to make a big stinking deal out of it. Satisfied?

So why are you so upset about non-Americans making comments about POTUS?

Actually, Elaine, I am surprised to hear that from you. I don't recall your positions on your US politicians/judges who engaged in similar activity, but I agree it is a nothing-burger. It is, as someone already said, political correctness going crazy.

However, my point is that there are Americans in this thread making nasty comments about my PM being racist, and I was simply asking YOU to tell them to back off because it is none of their business.

If you do that, then your integrity score will move up considerably in my assessment (of course, that may not matter to you... or does it?).

Elaine does not need me to speak for her. However, I noticed your derogatory comment about our POTUS when you called him “Orange Buffoon”. You seem to be exempt from your own hypocrisy. No one, to the best of my knowledge, ever called your PM Rastus Trudeau. Hypocrisy at its best!

No, not hypocrisy. You can call my PM whatever you like. I have never told any non-citizen to butt out of our politics.

But for you to suggest that no one on this forum has called Trudeau names is simply false.

They are hypocrite racists.
They hate being called out for what they all really are.

John, we are not talking making comments. They are calling names, making false statements and carrying on about something that is US business. Have you watched a couple of the questionable intelligence canadian individuals make false statement after false statement, call names to the President and people on here that support the President, etc.

Justin put on some black face 20 years ago, big freaking deal is how I looked at it. The man is not a racist, and I am not a big fan, but I don't have to be, he is not the President of the US.

John, I do not understand why you think "I" should tell others how to act. I would be shocked if ANY conservative took what Justin did as a big deal. It was 20 years or more ago and he dressed up for a party. Big freaking deal. If they (on here) are a democrat, they wouldn't listen to anything a conservative said about anything, they will be too busy calling names.

As far as I am concerned, it was a nothing burger that people on here used because of a couple of big mouth canadians on here that are always shooting off an ill informed mouth and they just handed it back to them.

John, we are not responsible for what others do. It is not our business what your leader does.

Well, that's a good start. You just gained 5 esteem points for restating your position as it pertains to Canada. But to get 25 points you have to tell the others to also back off. They won't, of course, but hearing you tell them would show your sincerity in your position of international politics.

BTW, you will never see me alter any of your posts other than to highlight what I think might be the essential point.

John, you are misguided. It is not my job to prove any sincerity to you BY bossing others around. It sounds as if you are asking me to PROVE my sincerity. You either believe me or you don't. I said it and I stand behind what I say. That is the best I can do. Think about it, I doubt there is a conservative on here that thinks it is a big deal, the democrats are another matter entirely and they don't listen to anyone, they just scream and call names. Your own country is having big issues with this. It is silly. Lets wait and see if conservatives go on the attack, like canadians have done to our President.

Comments are not the problem, pejorative statements are. When a person uses these he only does it to start an argument not a conversation.

John: you called our president an orange buffoon. Is that what you call a complement?

Nothing that Trump does will get him impeached. Look at what he had already done.
