Very nice Ed ... pictures like this always remind me that I need to get out there more often! It amazes me sometimes how often we tend to overlook stuff that is close to home like this and yet plan and take vacations to places based on (in part) the photo opps abroad.

Thank you for the kudos and the suggestion. I'm still learning how to best hold a camera body with a somewhat heavy lens -- a moment arm -- without the assistance of either a monopod or a tripod, and while standing or kneeling and leaning in rough, unbalanced and unstable conditions.

Beautiful set! Peyto Lake (#3) is spectacular and your photo does it justice. We did that trip in 2011 and plan to do it again. The only place that we've ever been that tops it is Norway, especially the Geirangerfjord.
