I want to congratulate you. The dragonfly is our largest species of 'clubtail' dragonflies, and it is commonly called the "dragonhunter" (Hagenius brevistylus). This dragonfly is no mosquito eater. It hunts larger insects, and is well known for catching other dragonflies, and that is the reason for its name. You can see its legs are oversized -- powerful for a dragonfly, and so when perching it looks very awkward.
Not an easy species to find! Well done.
