A quite day as summer starts to fade. FYC
Love the leading lines, Frank!
That’s nice--the lines, the colors, the sky, etc. It’s a photo I wish I had taken.

Thanks, it was such a great day to be out shooting. I was the only one out there. Just me and Mother Nature.
Nice shot Frank. The colors are strong with the all the elements. There is no negative to your picture.
I wanted to try a second version to see if it had a different impact. I rotated the picture so the tracks looked more level in the foreground then cropped out 20% of the left, 10% top, 10% bottom. To me it becomes more weight balanced while giving the rail road tracks more punch. The water on the left had more weight to the picture than I would have wanted. The tracks become a more predominant part of the picture, still keeping plenty of water.
I except that you might totally disagree. I could be in the minority.😊

Jim just because We disagree, doesn’t make that a bad thing. I am always interested in hearing and seeing others point of view. How else is a person to grow.
Feel free to post your vision on this thread. I look forward to see it.

Just a little different crop & twist.
Very, very nice. Good eye, good capture.

It certainly is very subtle. The scene just screams out to be taken. I know I shot it several times by only moving a foot or two in either direction.

Frank & Jim;
I appreciate the ineraction between 2 fellow Photographer's. The Critique given was very kind, upbuilding, positive. It was accepted in a very respectful and thankful manner. This is what I wish for all of us here at UHH.

Silverrails, I think FYC is one of the better threads on the Hog. At least I think it is. We are all here to learn and share. Please feel free to stop by often, and post your shots.
