If the focus is supposed to be the boat, then the second picture is best. The houses in the background are cluttered in the first. In fact, you might want to remove them in the second photo in PP.

Susan, Thank you for your input! I wasn't totally happy with that picture as I felt that I could have done a better job on the composition, but by the time I looked at it I had left the area.
