My first visit to the park was in 1950. I was with a group of Boy Scouts and we toured in the open top red buses. I heard that some of the buses had been restored and returned to service and sure enough there is one in picture 5 in this account. My several return visits were not in the tour buses and my sense was that the open top tour was the best. Of course the thrill of just being alive amidst such beauty and splendor was always the same. I understand the canvas roof can be rolled back, but it was in place during my tour.
Fabulous set as always, just lose the fish eye lens. Doesn't do anything for the journey.
