I understand the camera is real—not a joke.
I thought it might be a joke to post the image.
Sorry to offend anyone.

What a great gentleman you are. In a day and age where apologies are almost nonexistent, I really respect your opinions. What an example for all of us.

One of the best shots I have seen was of a ballerina in a piroette(sp) feet abour 4-6 -nches off the loor, taken with a Kodak brownie. When I first became intersested in photography, I was in SanDiego visit family, I bought a fold out camera at a pawn shop for $8 don't remember brand, (I think Kodak) any way I took a picture of 2 little black boys fishing through the cracks on the pier, no idea what I was doing I just followed the instructions inside the Kodak film box, I wish I had kept that photo. It was so simple then

Sorry about the hard tones.
Was the stolen car insured?

Just liability, it was an old GMC Jimmy with almost 200,000 miles on it. I think I found a replacement(1985 Blazer for $600, a little beat up, but runs fair).

I know the feeling, cancer has just about destroyed me but I beat the cancer, now I just have to get the money tree going again. I want to go up north for the color changes, wish me luck.

Glad you were able to claim victory over the cancer. Last September I took a week off of work just to shoot the changing aspens, hope you get to go, it was the best time just aimlessly going to different places to see some fantastic scenery. Her is one of my favorites.

Well, if anything, you proved it's the photographer not the cameras that makes the picture. Now, did you really sell ALL your camera equipment?

Sure did, 10 years of collecting what I needed and wanted all gone to the first low ball bid. Thought I was going to cry.

With ya' "..especially the hard times.."
This reminds me. A friend who took photography with me in college, myself and my wife, sometimes go out to shoot... My friend and I take our nice Canon and Nikon cameras, and my wife takes her I-Phone...
And I SWEAR..... Her "phone photos" are sometimes AS nice and (as often) NICER than out images..
Go figure!!!!

I am not offended, the story is not a joke either, just been having some hard times. Thanks for responding though. I guess it's more of a statement of passion over money and adversity.
