I got this software about 2 days ago, when I edit a picture and then closed out of on1 And go back into it the editing a gone how do I save what I did to the picture
Thanks
what type of edits are you applying?? Most all are saved automatically. If you crop an image you must hit
{Apply} for it to stay but all the rest of the edits should stay. Now if you have the Preview Turned Off you will not see the edits, make sure Preview is On.....
On1 raw also has a youtube channel that walks you thru How to use your new software. Here's one person that has about 60 tutorials on Youtube about On1 raw. I used it to get started. It starts with the 2018 version but it applies to the 2019 version as well

Go into your preferences and be sure the box is checked for using "sidecar files" since edit information is stored in it.
Yes I know about the Corp and hitting apply, down at the bottom it says preview if I click on it it says preview off up in the picture
I'm Processing All Raw files... From the tutorials I learned that Not all adjustments can be made with JPEG files. I'm just taking a guess now as all of my adjustments stay. Never had a problem like you've mentioned. On1 does have a On Line help site. Click on the Help icon on the top bar and a drop down menu with open up giving you a place to start with contacting On1 for some help.
I should also mention that I'm using On1 On for All my Editing and My Library.
Not sure when using as an addition to other softwares, how and where your edited versions are saved.............
Do you export your files? If so, in what format?
Well I edited two pictures after talking to you gentlemen save them on my computer closed out of the software in about an hour later I come back opened up the software and the two pictures went back to their original look any other suggestions
Thanks for your help
From my card I put them on my computer then I export them to on1 in (Raw)
The only thing I can think of is that On1 is saving the edited images in a different location. When you go back in you are opening them from the original location. Admittedly this is just a guess.

I have the Raw picture in one folder and when I edit it and put it in a JPEG folder that may be the problem I will check it out tomorrow
I have used ON1 for years and have noticed that the photos do not always show the editing in Browse. If you highlight the photo and click Edit the edits will show. If you Export there is no problem. Why this occurs in Browse I don't know, it's never really concerned me very much. So, try clicking Edit and see if the edited version shows up.

Export the processed file to your storage drive. I use a separate dive folder named photos' you can use whatever is good for you or you may wat to use the album feature in On1.

Are you opening ON1 first and then in the Browse module selecting the folder where the pictures are located? I ask because you said you exported the pictures from your computer to On1. If you aren't now, try opening ON1 as your starting point in Browser then select the photo to work on and take it into Edit.
This is were I get Lost..... You are saving to Computer???? My approach, I export all of my card into On1. These are placed inside a folder, These are Saved in On1 library. I then select photo from browse menu, click the edit menu and then edit from there. This should be saved as your Only photo. You will not have two copies, but only one with all the edits. If you are saving to computer, where are you saving the photos. In a separate folder, on your desk top, into a different editing software???? If you take a look at the link I sent, you will find easy to understand tutorials on On1. Either the first or second video tells you how to either save photos to On1 or how to edit them from a different location, like Lightroom, aperture, photos, etc.....
