Looking to buy peaks design leash and capture V3 clip. Has anyone used either of these items? Is the thin strap comfy? I recently purchased the field pouch and everyday sling pack for my G9 and 100-400 lens.. Now I need strap, leash!.. Will buy new or used. Thank You!

I have the smallest leash strap that I use to carry my IPhone. It works really well and doesn't cut into my neck. I wouldn't recommend using it for a larger, heavier camera.
I use that combination on my Sony RX100M5 and like that it still fits nicely in a pocket. With a larger camera, you can probably use the clips with the larger diameter "cable." I will be buying the larger ones for the Fuji X-T2. I would email customer support to ask about which clip is appropriate.
I have a lot of PD products and thinking about adding a leash.
what is funny is that you can buy a new one from PD or Amazon for $35. They are listed on Ebay for up to $50.
I wonder how many they sell.
go figure.

What camera set up will you use it on

I would use it on my canon 5d mark 4 with a 24/70 lens.
I also have the slide model that i use on that camera.
I'm not use if i'm going to buy the lease.
l I want the leash!! but thinking do i need the slide lite instead. the leash is so slim, But do I need the larger for my G9 and 100-400
The leash wouldn't be to small for your Canon 5D with lens. If not then I would be comfortable to get the leash for my set up which is probably equivalent to your set up.

Peak Design makes a lot of camera straps. One model is called the leash. The leash is a thin very soft strap. You can roll it up and put it in your pocket. To me it is a strap that i would not use all day long. when working with a tripod i would take it off of the camera body, and then when I was moving place to place i would put it back on. PD straps are design with quick release buttons.

Read good reviews for "Peak Design", although becareful you buy the correct strap, for size and weight of you camera + Lens.
I have the slide, the leash, and multiple cuff styles of straps from Peak Design. I normally keep the cuff strap on each camera unless I am carrying multiple cameras then I switch one to either the slide or leash for ease of carrying. They are so easy to switch from to the other. Not found a strap system that compares, highly recommend.
My favorite is the cuff style.
I have one to sell, had used it for short time on my Fuji X-T1. PM if interested. Selling for $20 + s/h.
