That is a neat photo. I take lots of tree photos even though I've never thought about it until I saw yours.

This would really look good in B/W! IMHO

Here is one of mine from Big Talbot Island State Park, Fla. Used an HDR process which seemed to work, given the lighting at the time.

This was taken on Skyline Drive in Virginia. I call it the golden forest for obvious reasons. It turns that yellow every fall. If you ever want a picturesque trip. Try it in the fall.

I love Hemlocks but we live to far south now so my new favorite is the cypress. The water around them is like black mirrors. I posted the same photo right side up and upside down taken from the waters surface.

The first two are the famous tule tree near Oaxaca, Mexico. ItÂ’s a type of cypress. Google "tule tree".

The third shot is from Point Reyes, CA. Not sure what kind of trees they are.

The second and third shot really caught my eye. Great tree shots.

I have one gal that wanted 4 prints of this tree! One for each season. She and I were not disappointed with what I captured. Her husband said he was glad there were only 4 seasons or he would have to build another room for her pictures! I laughed all the way to the bank! Just before dawn there is what is called blue light and I have been lucky enough to get several shots with this light!
