What do you guys think of this lens? I just bought this lens from Adorama for $329.00 which was 50% off.

I like mine. I have little use for it, but when I need a wide angle, it performs very well. You got a good deal.

I had one when my dslr's were a Sigma SD10 and SD14 - Traded the SD14, the 10-20 and 4 other lens towards Canons (kept the SD10 2 kit lenses and 70mm macro as emergency spares).

That 10-20 was a very good lens, I liked it and used it for trains, inside rail cars at the museum etc.

Have had it for a while now and it has performed satisfactorily on both my D7200 and D500. It's an older Sigma Lens, so it's not compatible with their USB Dock. It does have some distortion, especially at the 10mm (15mm equivalent) end, but it's easily fixed with lens compensation in LightRoom, very low CA, very sharp, no problems at all with AF. I'm glad I bought it and plan to keep it. Enjoy!

If you bought this lens for your Canon -- then you missed a great deal with Canon zoom 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 STM for ~ $253. Yes, it is too late as was remarked already -- or could you send it back? Of course an f/3.5 lense is better? A prime lense---if that's what you want.

I have one and use mine for Real Estate photos, and for tight spaces. On my Sony crop sensor cameras it is equiv. to a 15-30, when using it on my full frame A series, it becomes 10-20@ 18 megapixels. It is a very good lens for Landscapes as well. If one adds the phrase, "For the money", the lens is a STEAL. Enjoy it!

When seeking advice here, it may be a good idea in the future to ask BEFORE you buy.

I've had the straight f/3.5 model for a couple of years, now, and love it. I've been using it on a pair of canon 7dmkII's, and find I use way more than I thought I would. It's really nice having that wide angle range on a crop sensor-it is a crop lens, so the previous comment about the crop factor is null and void.

I have the older F/4-5.6 variant, and it is a fine lens, so I would expect the F/3.5 variant to be worth purchasing also.

I have this lens for Nikon and love it - being able to capture the entirety of a subject in a single frame is important to me: especially large buildings and landscapes.

I don’t think he as seeking advice, just feedback from Hoggers who owned it.
