Hi everyone i have a Halloween event coming up i have a Fuji s2950 a good hp photosmart printer but this will also be an event i will ne charging about five bucks per pic but I'm a bit on worried about setting could i pick a spot that has shade more less some do's an dont's for a out door Halloween event. children will be in costumes an that's the moments i want to capture at this event .
If your using auto modes use portrait. Use a place in the shade and use fill flash to remove shadows. Are these posed shots or candids?
That's a good question what is candids

Where you shoot subjects when they are not aware for a more relaxed look.
More relaxed pics because this will be the first time ever doing an event

I mean the people you are photographing. Will they be posing for your pictures or will you be taking photos of them as they go about their business?

Yes they will be posing
Ah, well like I said place them in the shade and use fill flash. Short of using off camera flash and manual settings that's going to render your best shots.
Just turn your camera loose. get a bigger sd card and wear it out. :-D
