A few weeks ago, I think I posted some questions about painting a ukulele - or maybe I didn't. I do remember people asking me to post pictures of the finished project, though. I had a local woman do the painting, and I'm pleased with the way it turned out. I have another one I'd like to have painted, but I have to think of a good scene.

This is a Fluke ukulele made by the Magic Fluke company in Sheffield, MA. All their instruments are made right there, using parts sourced locally, so it's truly Made in America.

Now I need ideas for another painting. Don't hesitate to offer suggestions.

How about a painting of George Formby, that would baffle a few folk over your side of the pond jerry..come to think about it, more than a few over here would be hard pushed to know about him!

Good idea. I thought about having pictures of famous uke players over the years (probably not Tiny Tim), but painting them would be a challenge.

It would be nice if I could make a good print on vinyl and apply that and then remove it later - swap it for another one.
