Dignity Sculpture near Chamberlain SD

Taken recently while traveling through South Dakota. If you are ever traveling through South Dakota on Hwy 90, stop and see the Dignity Statue. The Dignity sculpture is located at a rest stop on a bluff between exits 263 and 265 on Interstate 90 near Chamberlain, the stainless steel, 50-foot-tall statue was specifically designed by sculptor Dale Lamphere to honor the cultures of the Lakota and Dakota people.

Great shot!! I didn’t know it was there either. I’ll make sure to stop by on my way to AL’s Oasis for Dutch apple pie with homemade cinnamon ice cream. South Dakota has so many treasures!!!
