An indigenous Bee

There are about 4000 species of bees native to North America. Most are unnoticed, small and solitary. Some are stingless. All predate the common Honey Bee which was imported by European colonists in the 1600s. This one is Anthophora californica.

your not the only one not enjoying the heat, I follow several UK youtube narrowboaters/RV'ers, all hoping its just a temporary thing...........
