Some cats I've found recently( over the last few weeks-had a computer issue and thus couldn't post anything) here in North Georgia. A forked Tailed caterpillar(Genus Furcula), a Rose Slug caterpillar ( Parsa indetermina . One of two I found) and a bevy of IO moth cats (Automeris IP. & yes, that is my thumb in the frame...
Nice thumb! That last one looks very much like the Nudibranchs I see scuba diving. There are what seems like an unlimited number of species, all beautiful and most poisonous. Very nice photos.
all lovely in their own special way
Well, just got back from food shopping and the monitor isn’t getting a signal from the computer again.... Grrrr, I don’t know what to do at this point. The graphics card is an AMD Radeon 7000 series. I could take it out and it should revert to the Intel HD 4600 integrated graphics it is rather have the discrete card over integrated... what to do...
Very cool! All extremely good finds & nice pictures.
I really enjoyed the variety and quality of this set Scott.

1st and last,really cool cats,good job
For those who may not know, the IO cats and the Slug cats are venomous. I have to be careful when cleaning out their enclosure or adding leaves for them . Thankfully they were all found on Black Cherry trees so I don’t have to worry about harvesting different leaves for them.
I have about a dozen IO cats all told. They exhibit a peculiar behavior. They seem to take a days-long break from feeding and then go back to feeding voraciously. They were clustered in two groups on the side of the enclosure the last few days and then this morning, they were devouring the Cherry leaves I put in (i have to add a lot of leaves almost daily) I had to get more while out with my dog. Anyone else seen this type of behavior?
