Some very nice captures! I hope you do not mind a mild critique. Did you use a tilt-shift lens? It is a strange lens with an unusual mechanism. It corrects for parallax. Buildings and other tall objects don't look as if they are falling backwards. If not, try considering renting one to become familiar with it. Use it in tandem with a tripod. Set up you shot in live view. You know the rest.
