Any suggestions on what lenses to pack on a trip to Morocco. I shoot with an Olympus OMD-EM1. I will be in the cities and dessert
Here is my experience. Almost everything I shot was short or long, hardly anything in the middle range. In the souks, markets, medina and mosques it is all close work. To shoot street scenes, mountains and lush valleys will need telephoto range. Of 52 destinations outside USA, Morocco is in my top 4-5. Have a great trip.
I’m told dessert in Morocco is fabulous.

Yes - at Erfoud we took a long guided drive into the desert (very edge of the Sahara), then a camel ride out into the dunes, then group sat on a dune watching the sun set over the others. Amazing experience and suggest it highly if available.

Stardust (one of the great songs from my era) - I was actually referring to the OP’s (probably inadvertent) mention of dessert - sweets often served at the end of a fine dinner. Have a photogenic day!

Got it - sorry I missed that one, guess the eye sees what it thinks it sees. Get your point but actually wasn't impressed with any desserts, only the desert. So guess I shouldn't mention the wonderful dates. <wink>
Just for you, and me as a kid...
