This was taken on Aug 1st, 2019. I was on another boat in the harbor. shot about 200 + frames. I really liked this one. got several others worthy of framing and hanging... Thank you for your kind comment.

Thanks Bob ... I got an invitation to go onboard the Eagle the next day ... Friday night ... would have given my right arm to be where you were to capture this shot, but didn't know about her coming in time to arrange a boat. It is a gorgeous shot, even if lo-res. Nice job ... I really liked the lighting & hope you now have that shot hanging someplace ... it should be. I've already started thinking about capturing her coming into the harbor when & if she comes back. Frank

What a great shot. Seeing her underway without sail shows the rigging which has always fascinated me. I wonder if you happened to get a photo from a different angle that shows more detail of the rigging, if so would really like to see it here as well.
