Many great individual pictures; as a collection your posts over the last few days have been terrific. How many visits to the NWRs would you estimate it took to get all the different birds and shots you have posted?

Another great set. The Refuge system in the central valley is one of the few reasons I miss California. By the way the Merganser is a Red-breasted Merganser.

I have been frequenting the Sacramento, Delevan, Colusa and Sutter NWR refuges as well as the California Gray Lodge Wildlife Area for the past 20 years, probably a dozen times a year. I have had visits where I virtually got nothing but others when I did very well.

You are correct and the image is labeled as such in my files. I got careless when I posted it.
