I'm currently using the Colormunki Display calibration tool.
While searching the ViewSonic website, I saw they have a calibration program called Colorbration+.
I downloaded it and the user manual, but after reading it, my eyes glazed over.
Has anyone used this (Colorbration+) and your thoughts as compared to the Colormunki Display?
IMHO just stay with Colormunki.
There are already 2 different pieces of software by Xrite that you can use to calibrate with your Colormunki device. One is Photo and the other is i1Studio. They both work great but offer different levels of effectiveness. So I see no need to pay for a 3rd party software when the software above is designed for this product. I use them both from time to time.
Thanks for the info on the Colormunki software. I'll take a look at them.
What I forgot mention is that the ViewSonic Colorbration+ software is a freebie and designed specifically for their monitors. Just looking to see if anyone is using it and what settings are being used.
Again thanks
I Googled it quickly, and it looks like it's meant for use with some other calibration systems, but it doesn't mention Colormunki.
According to ViewSonic tech support, this program is compatible with the Colormunki Display device.
I was going to try it out to see what it does in comparison to the Colormunki Display.
Went on the X-rite website but couldn't find the programs you're referring to. Can you list the link(s) so I can see what they are.

Please use the Quote Reply when you want someone to see that you are talking to them. In this case I could tell you probably were directing this message at me because I came back here and read it. The way I found the first software was to use Google. I googled "colormunkiphoto" in the google box and came up with this:
https://www.xrite.com/service-support/downloads/c/colormunki-photo-124Go down about 1/2 way and you'll see Download: PC Version Mac Version in red. Click one of those
Then I googled i1Studio software and got this:
https://www.xrite.com/service-support/downloads/i/i1studio_v1_1_0Good luck. Both of these are designed for the Color Munki Photo device
