Mysterious Orb. What is it?

The attached picture is from a screen capture of a video taken by my trail camera. Of the almost 700 videos recorded by the camera, this is the only one that has the unexpected orb in it. The image has not been edited in any way - it is just the way it came out of the camera.

Does anyone have a clue as to what the orb may be? I have ruled out anything on the lens because the orb drifts around in random directions throughout the 10 second duration of the video and is not present in previous or subsequent recordings. Whatever it is, it did not spook the deer on the right hand side of the picture.

I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

Google orbs and you may find your answer. They have been around for ages.

I can get a similar image orb on my home security camera and it can be a small spider web with just a flake of something in it that can reflect light. UV Light can make things look really strange, you should see a spider climb in front of the camera lens at night, it makes you want to run for a gun.

Thanks for the guesses but neither are likely.

I guess I should have mentioned, the camera is facing directly west into a field that borders a heavily wooded county park. There are no light sources in that direction. The moon that night was a waxing gibbous and would not make a perfect circle and would not be in the line of sight of the camera. If it was somehow a reflection of the moon on the lens, I would not expected to drift around in random directions through the 10 second duration of the video clip.

If I am right, the light comes from your camera (uv) and will make small things close to the camera look larger than normal. A spider web would explain something moving in the night air. Just a guess.

The only light source appears to be the camera. I'd say a reflection of the camera light off of something.

It does look like the camera flash is the source of illumination. I'd guess it's a bug near the camera, way out of focus and strongly illuminated by the flash. That would move around randomly.

Or else it's a magical orb.

That is just a dust or pollen close to the lens floating about and being lighted by IR.
