Prior to losing all my gear in the California Wildfires, I had Pocket Wizard triggers. They were great and also 100% reliable. They worked fine on Enloop Ni-Mh batteries. I suspect the Godox transmitter might work okay on them as well, but I mentally can't get past the constant low battery indicator.
Incidentally, I'm actually using the Godox X-Pro-n which is the same as the Flashpoint R2 Pro. I Really believe if users are having reliability issues, it's more user error than anything.
