Very nice shot. Your focus for feather detail and f/stop choice for the DOF are super. Maybe not as colorful as the males, but a beautiful bird, none the less.

Certainly fine equipment was used but more importantly, it took some really good photography to get the quality I see in that shot. Nice work!
