Searchable MS Word Version of Entire Adobe Photoshop CC Menu Structure

Some years ago, when I was tasked with administering a large and complex telephone system, I hit on the idea of using MS Word to create a searchable map of the system's very complex menu structure. Then, when I was stuck on where to find something in the menu maze, I just searched the Word document for the solution.

Yesterday, it struck me that the same approach could be helpful in finding things in the very complex Photoshop CC menu maze. So, I went through the menu choices and created the attached searchable Word guide to both the pull-down menus and the toolbars.

I've attempted to keep Adobe's nomenclature, so a > sign means there's a sub-menu to follow. Adobe places lines to group some menu choices into families - I used underlining for that purpose.

I hope this proves useful - I've used it a couple of times already. Of course, you can search for anything on the web, but I think having one place to go for where-to-find-it information is helpful. I also discovered a lot of menu options I never new existed.

Adobe has provided searchable PDFs. I have saved links to several of them.

This is Photoshop: https://helpx.adobe.com/content/dam/help/en/pdf/photoshop_reference.pdf

This is Lightroom Classic: https://helpx.adobe.com/content/dam/help/en/pdf/lightroom_reference.pdf

This is Photoshop Elements: https://helpx.adobe.com/pdf/photoshop-elements_reference.pdf

Thank you. I have the PS and LR documents. I don't believe the PS PDF had a complete menu tree, though.

Your work just emphasizes the desire of most of the "Hogs" to be helpful and share information. Thanks.

That is excellent - and useful. I am forever searing for menu items I know are there but difficult to find. I am going to do the same thing with the Affinity Menus - these, in my opinion, are laid out far more illogically than Photoshop's.

Thank you for a great contribution.
