This is the problem with an ADHD, slightly "sheldon-like" biologist understanding jokes like this. I don't get the Uranium Wife connection. My mind goes immediately to the radio-active chemical element Uranium, but I know that is not it. U-Ran-I-Um? Means nothing! But I fully understand the Rattlesnake. All too well. Ever hear the Rattlesnake Shake (song)?

Glad I'm not alone. I showed it to my wife and she did not get it either.

Runs out the guy in the story bought the uranium oxide from Amazon...and it’s perfectly legal. Natural uranium is not radioactive...only enriched U235 is and even it is only minimally so until it is used for reactor fuel or a bomb.

The dirt in Idaho is more radioactive...de to naturally occurring radon gas...then yellowcake is.

Yes, explain. "Uranus" is easy to get.

Only thing I could think of was Your cranium - no its my wife's so it would mean he was carrying his wife's skull.

Yeah, at first I thought there might be a plural form of "your anus" but to my knowledge, most have just one, although I have to wonder by the actions of some if------

The driver, not knowing what an "anium" is, throws his wife under the bus saying it's hers, then distracts by admitting the snake is his. OK, not so funny.

Until you find out...this is based on an event in Guthrie, Oklahoma on June 26! See:
https://www.cnn.com/2019/07/11/us/rattlesnake-uranium-oklahoma-trnd/index.html

In addition, there was an open bottle of whiskey, a gun in the console, and the car was stolen!

AND...because the driver had a hunting license and it was rattlesnake season, AND the uranium ore is not illegal (it can allegedly be bought on Amazon), there were no charges brought for the snake or uranium. Oh yeah, he claimed he had the uranium to create a "super snake."

Funny ole world.
