Yes, I thought it a shame that Trix was bullied out of the conversation, he was respectful and quite knowledgeable on the subject matter. It does not mean that you have to agree with him but those who engaged with him should have tried to keep the conversation on an even keel instead of simply calling him a liar and worse to bully him out of the conversation. Clearly Trix was well informed and willing to have an in-depth respectful discussion.
I guess that the topic would have maybe faired better in Chit Chat, clearly the Attic is not the place for the type of exchange that Trix wanted to have.

You hateful bullshit is not worthy of a direct response, I will allow my previous posts here regarding race to speak for me, unlike you I have a connection to the Hispanic culture, having lived in Latin countries and married a Latina bride. I have no problems with Latinos or any person of color based on that factor alone, I do have problems with illegal immigration and an inept congress unwilling for more than 40 years to fix a problem that the American people have long demanded to be fixed.

I originally posted to Chit Chat but was kicked to The Attic within hours and advised to keep political discussion out of Chit Chat. I have to believe that any discussion related to climate is deemed political.

That is exactly why it is tough to have a good conversation about it, the democrats have tried to use climate science as a political tool and now a large portion of the country is mistrustful of the science that surrounds it.
