That beings back memories! First new car my folks owned! With four kids they were glad to trade it in on a 1954 Ford SW the next year. I remember our one vacation trip from WI to CO in 1953. Dad was none too fond of it, had complaints about its performance. Me, I liked the deep maroon color.

Wow, does that bring back memories. As a youth we didn't have TV but lived on the corner of two four lane highways. Spent many and hour standing on the corner watching beauties like that go by. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
