Welcome everyone to the ninth "No Host, Just Post, No Obligation Weekend"
Thank you Pat for hosting the "Summer Sizzle Challenge”, It was a very hot and sizzling topic with cool photos to prove it.
After starting this weekend off, I'll be working out of town preparing for a huge family auction next weekend and won’t be back until Monday.
Post whatever you like, but do keep in mind that this is a family friendly section.
Comments on submissions are welcomed but don't feel obligated to comment. Please don't be offended if your image doesn't receive any comments. Summer is a short and busy time of year for everyone, and not all have that much spare time..
I'll start it off with a few.
Have a great weekend.

HWG - you are not alone in this! NEVER EVER happens at a good time - NEVER EVER. Next time you'll catch that heron but good!
Back late afternoon from a trip to CT and an antique motorcycle meet. Ride home was long with more traffic than we've ever experienced before. A big thanks to Judy and Bill Juul for a wonderful morning together. We covered a lot in 4 hours!
Thank you, JJ and Bill
First, the Hartford Riverwalk - sculpture flowers, paths, bridges
Benches all along the walk - just for us.
Then, Craig's Castle - close your eyes and you'd think you were in Scotland for a few moments
One view at the top.
Panoramic - I believe it's the highest spot within 25 miles of the Atlantic coast from ? to ? - HELP ME JJ!!

Although the plaque indicates that East Peak is "the highest point within 25 miles (40 km) of the coast from Maine to Florida," West Peak, just 2,000 feet (610 m) to the west, at 1,024 feet (312 m), is higher than both East Peak and the tower. Both East and West Peak are lower than a number of mountains in the Downeast coastal region of Maine
Here's a picture of the castle tower...
Fun times! So glad we got the chance to enjoy!!
