I took a lot of sunrise pictures, playing with my ND2 filter and just trying to see what it does. I think I like this capture. Perhaps I should crop out the boat house.

Really nice. I would just erase the pole or what ever it is and leave every thing else alone.

Love the colors and the reflection. Agree with Collhar on the removal of the pole. Mahalo for sharing.

That's a really nice image but I have to say something. The boat house is intrusive. It seems like it shouldn't be there in this beautiful nature shot.

I have to ask why, since the light level is low to begin with, you used an ND filter. I see that your ISO was at 3200 and the shutter speed was 1/30 second. Without the ND filter you could have lowered the ISO to 1600.

I like the foreground; it makes the scene look real and gives it some character, so I wouldn’t remove it or change anything. Without the foreground, the photo becomes just another ho-hum scene to me.

I was just playing, never used an ND filter before and wanted to see what it did. Still learning after 50 years of photography.

Yes, getting rid of the pole makes a big difference.

Nice. Leaving the boat house in adds depth to the photo
