Another nice one. My first car was a 55 Chevy.
My dad had a '56 Impala - turquoise. Not sure now the difference between the Impala and the Bel Air. Maybe the motor size?
Nice image.

I'm a '57 model myself but I like the '55 Chevy much more than the '57. I'd definitely go for one of these if I was buying a '55-57.
Chevy did not make the Impala until 1958. It has always been another of my favorites. I had one, but did not get it until about 1962.

I don't think the Impala name started until 1958.
The 55 and 56 Chevy’s are the most beautiful designs ever produced by GM, IMO.

I had a 55 2 door post. Fond memories.

Oh. I thought that's what it was. I stand corrected. But I do know it wasn't a Bel Air. What else did they have in '56?

For the Chevrolet, GM produced the 150, the 210, and Bel Air. The Bel Air being the most collectible of the series.

Very nice. Like the color combo on this one.
Beauty! One of my uncles had one exactly like that. The colors were wine and ivory.

The Pink and Black version was a real eye-catcher as well.

Nice shot. Had a 55 Bel Air V8 convertible. Should have kept it.
