https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2017/oct/12/stephen-paddock-the-las-vegas-murderer-may-have-be/The most likely conclusion is that Steven Paddock was radicalized.
First, ISIS’ claim of credit matters. The Islamic extremist group rarely claims attacks they didn’t carry out. Furthermore, when ISIS doubles down on a claim, the likelihood of their involvement has proven to increase. They will claim responsibility if the attacker is sent or inspired by them.
ISIS claims Paddock was acting on his leader’s call for attacks against Las Vegas and has released more specifics: that Stephen Paddock radicalized six months ago and his Islamic name was “Abu Abdul Barr al-Amriki.” Details like this matter; it is the modus operandi of Islamic terrorism. So, yes, it may be opportunistic propaganda, but where there is smoke.
Second, Paddock may have had extremist connections in the Philippines. There are 11 million Muslims, or roughly 10 percent of the country’s population. Abu Sayyaf is the most violent jihadi faction in the region. Its name means “bearer of the sword,” and it has declared allegiance to ISIS. Their victims have thus far been Australian, British, Canadian, German, and Malaysian, with Americans also targeted. Abu Sayyaf has stated, “We have been trying hard to get an American we want to fight the American people.”
Third, follow the money. Paddock wired at least $100,000 to an account in the Philippines a week before he opened fire. There are reports that Paddock was sending thousands of dollars a month to the Philippines before the massacre. To who and for what remains murky.
Ms. Danley claims the money was buy a house — if so, show us the money. Ms. Danley, an Australian citizen was in the Philippines, her native country, when Paddock pulled the trigger. Her background remains unclear. Two social security numbers, married to two men simultaneously — was she herself radicalized?
Last but certainly not least, credible sources within federal law enforcement have indicated that literature from the leftist domestic terror group Antifa was found in one of the gunman’s vehicles. This could be a symptom of the overheated narrative raging in this country or even a red herring to lead law enforcement astray, but it could also be a disturbing merging of these two anti-American terror organizations. Not quite ...

For this claim to have credibility, one must assume that ISIS is a responsible organization that would not make false claims, and that Paddock had some connection to the Philippines that involves Islam (10 percent of the population) rather than something else (such as the woman he was actually involved with).
Just another right wing conspiracy claim.

You couldn't bust a balloon with a razor blade!
This Trump move on Antifa is typical of his modus operandi.
So let me get this straight. Antifa is a terrorist organization, but the Proud Boys are welcome at Trump Rallies.
Of course.

Trump is threatening to label Antifa a terrorist organization.
Which is the real terrorist organization?
Deaths attributable to Antifa: None
Direct civilian deaths in Major Post-9/11 War Zones (Afghanistan, Pakistan & Iraq, 2001-2018): ~250,000
Direct civilian deaths in Syria (which is substantially attributable to Post-9/11 Wars): ~500,000
How lopsided is the death toll?
US military and contractor deaths: ~15,000
National military and police: ~109,000
Opposition forces: ~115,000

I think the shooter should hang.
Why would you claim that these were very fine people.
Even Trump didn’t say that.
Bless your heart, but I really don’t think you can stop stepping in it.

Yes, you're right. It was the white nationalists who protested in Charlottesville, VA, that Trump said included “some very fine people”. Not Charlotte, NC.
But I'm sure Trump likes those NC white nationalists at least as much as the VA white nationalists.
Maybe take a poll. Which state has Trumps favorite white nationalists?

Ah, that was your President who referred to them as, "some very fine people". Not I
