RMNP at Estes Park or Mt Evans at Idaho Springs ..... not an easy decision .... neither one looks like Southern Indiana!
Nice shot, your composition is superb.

Beautiful shot! Gnaw Bone is nice too! I have friends that live in Story, IN.
Beautiful photo--southern Indiana is pretty photogenic itself, too.
Thanks for the kind words - I'm a 1 in 500 guy - I usually wear out my shutter trying to get a keeper. The sun was quirky this day and some of the images were ..... well .....

rmnp in the summer will be crowded. mt. evans is home to several mtn. goats which roam up there. you can drive all the way to the top where there's a parking lot ($10 was the entrance fee a few years back). i got several shots of the critters. common sense says don't get too close to the youngsters or their mother will deal with you and you will need a first aid kit for starters.

I go up Mt. Evans any time. However, when you get to 13,000 feet, you have to force yourself to breathe more often to stay conscious!
Beautiful shot of a beautiful scenery.
I love that Park. Thanks for the nice photo.
You have a good shot of Mt. Ypsilon (13 514ft) in RMNP, Gnawbone!
You can do both trips. Mt. Evans (14 264ft) is a long, narrow road - scenic drive all the way up to the summit parking. From there is a short (probably breathtaking in the thin air) trail walk to the rocky summit. Goats are present in the upper part and around the parking lot.
You may need a parka for breezy summit.
