I've recently switched to an Olympus OM-D EM5 MARK II. I want to put 12-40mm f2.8 on it to start but the price, is a bit high. Any suggestions for second best choices? I'm looking possibly at some long range zooms? From Panasonic or Olympus? Olympus Digital 14-150mm f4-5.6 II M.Zuiko ED MS? Panasonic Lumix G 14-140mm F3.5-5.6 Vario Power O.I.S. HD Lens MFT? So I don't need two lenses. Im also looking at the Panasonic 12-32mm??
Possibly Panasonic Lumix G 12-60mm F3.5-5.6 Power O.I.S. MFT Len?
I have the same camera and want lenses for travel and street. Suggestions?
Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 14-150mm F4.0-5.6 II it's also weather sealed.
That's good to know! I'm wandering how good they are or should i go with 2 lenses, such as the Panasonic 12-60 and a Olympus 40-150mm??
Thanks but those are all over $500 and up. A little out of my range right now. Pains me to say that because its the everyday I REALLY want.

I use the Panasonic 12-32 on my Olympus, it's a great little lens and produces excellent images, considering the price this lens is worth every penny.
That's about a $125-$150 lens?
I have a Panasonic Lumix 14-45mm F3-5.6 lens that is surprisingly good. I got it with my DMC-G1 years ago and I use it all the time. It is my default lens on my EM-5 Mii. It is sharp and focuses quickly in good light. And 14-45 is a very useful walking around lens focal range (for M43 format). And it focuses close which extends the usefulness.
I have considered buying the Oly lens, because Oly glass is very good and it is a faster lens. But as I said, in good light the Lumix lens is great. So I haven't spent the money for the Oly glass because I mostly use that focal length in in good light.
The attached example was taken with the Lumix 14-45 lens.

Not bad! You are right on what should be the "sweet spot" of that lens? Appears a bit soft, no?
That is SOOC, no processing, downsized for UHH. Looking at the original compared to the UHH version, on screen side by side. The focus point is appears to be right in the center of the flowers and the original appears slightly sharper on my Retina MBP screen. I can PM the original to you if you like. It is jpeg format.
But if that is too soft for you, perhaps you should consider the Olympus version.
I'd love to see it with PP, if it's not too much trouble. I figured it was probably just a quick jpeg upload, therefore the question mark. I'd love to see what it's got!

The zoom is manually controlled, so is compatible
with all Micro Four Thirds cameras. There is no
focus ring, so while autofocus works for all cameras,
manual focus might not. There is no way to
manually focus this lens from Olympus cameras.

Zuiko 14-150 non-version-II [IOW original version] is $100 these days.
At BestBuy I bought their OMD-M5-MkII display sample WITH that lens
for $500 and I thought they were overly generous by including it. Then
I noticed that they also sell the lens alone for $100, so I was rather less
impressed, but still happy that they included it.
So IF it's still on clearance for $100, and IF none of the other options is
going that cheap .... nuff said ?
