Hello and welcome to the UHH. Not sure why you aspire to be a pro photographer, it's a whole lot of work and the rewards aren't what they use to be. If you want to learn how to take amazing photos, pick up the Digital Photography Book series by Scott Kelby, read the books and practice, practice, practice.

Greetings. Welcome to the craft. Read all you can, shoot all you can, watch Youtube videos on photo topics. Take some photo courses, at college, or by mail. NYIP.edu-The New York Institute Of Photography-has some great distance courses. They are approved for veteran's benefits. Buy for the future. Even if you have a crop frame camera now, consider getting as many full frame lenses as you can, for the day when you will want to upgrade to a full frame camera. Buy as much capability as you can afford. Getting a used / refurbished pro item at a reduced cost can prove less expensive than buying a new consumer item, using it awhile, upgrading to a different consumer item, etc, several times. Realize that there is no one always best for everything item-camera, lens, flash, etc-so you will never have 'The Best'. One item may be best at one thing-portraits for example-but be useless for something else-such as Macro. Everything has it's own merits, and flaws. Nothing is perfect, or The Universal Best. If you can combine two, or more, uses in one item, so much the better....a portrait lens which also does true 1 to 1 (1:1) Macro, can be better than having a portrait lens which does not do macro, and also a macro lens which does not do portraits. The DSLR vs Mirrorless, and Nikon vs Canon vs etc, is pretty much a matter of personal taste. you can get great images with almost anything on the market, if you use it properly. Mimic the style of various pros-Ansel Adams, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Dorthea Lange, etc-until you find your niche, and achieve your own style. Buy from trusted sources....B&H Photo-Video, Adorama, etc. Experiment with different subjects, styles, equipment, etc. Enjoy yourself, and your craft.

The 5150 refers the law enforcement code of “5150” which is for a mentally disturbed person. Started using it after
I learned that it was the name of Eddie Van Halen’s studio name. Then I learned where he got it from which was the law enforcement code.
