No...just the truth of the matter.



Back then pastors weren't afraid to tell the truth, nowadays most of the time the message is meant to not offend the person.



That's fine if you don't claim to be a Christian but if you do, then you are sinning. If you die without being saved, you and that murderer will go to the same place (assuming that person doesn't repent and believe Jesus' words)



Thank you for your service. What we do in war is sad but necessary.



That's too bad but not surprising, however I implore you to repent and believe the gospel before it's too late. We never know when our time is up.

If you mean from me...no. What you will always get is the truth.

The truth is this: you, me, those "mooslums" and every person you fought in the war are all sinners and will rightly be punished unless you repent and believe the good news. (that being that God came down in the form of a man (Jesus) and took the punishment that wasn't His, he died to secure a people for Himself.

As Jesus told Nicodemus "unless you are born again you won't see the Kingdom of God" so that's what I'm praying for you; that God removes that heart of stone and replaces it with a heart of flesh. That what you now love you will hate and what you hate now, you will love.

I wasn't always saved...heck..I spent MOST of my life unsaved. I know exactly how it is. I'm the LAST person I'd have EVER thought would be saying what I just said.

Yet by the grace of a merciful God...here I am.

You know exactly what's being said. I know it and you know it.

I wasn't always saved and I spent a LOT of time mocking Christians who had the courage to speak up. Been there....got the t-shirt.

However..all of the time I was doing that, I knew...wayyyyy deeep down....way down deep inside me that God exists and if I continued on my present path and died, I'd get my just-reward; Hell for eternity.

I know you will claim that God doesn't exist and that we are all stupid sheeple believing a fairy tale, I get that...but you and I know the truth.

So I say the same thing to you as folks did to me before I was saved....don't wait....you never know what day you'll die and if you die unsaved...you get your just punishment and not mercy. God is a just-judge, He won't overlook our sins. We (and every other human) have sinned against Him a billion times over...we've been selfish, we've not given Him his due respect, we've stolen things, lusted, hated folks, dishonored our parents, certainly we've done all manner of sexual sin, etc...the list is miles long. We all deserve Hell.

But God is a merciful God and so He's made a way to be saved from that punishment to come. God graciously came to earth in the form of Jesus Christ, lived a sinless life in our place, died and was buried. He rose on the 3rd day, defeating death, and so we can have the confidence that we will live forever too if we are born again as He says.
