What an amazing picture! It’s good to read that you were allowed home. I know how scary it can be to be evacuated. We were evacuated from our home for 11 days out in Colorado. Horrible not knowing if your house is still standing. Luckily it was.

So today I was evacuated from my mountain home and I thought that I might as well try and shoot it. I managed to line the fire up with the Milky Way before the moon rose. Kind of eerie...kind of living in my car and on the fence about my house. I did not do much processing on this. I will fix it later. Thanks for looking.
That's a beautiful Milky Way and a really scary fire!
Wow, nice picture, hope your house survived.

Awe inspiring shot. Wild fires are not nice. Hope your house was not destroyed.
Best wishes. Beautiful picture.

Phenomenal capture! Truly excellent!
My father once said, When you are up to your A${% in alligators, remember that your original intention was to drain the swamp.
Hope your losses mere minimal.
I do look forward to each of your posted images. You are one of the very few I say that about.

Great shot, good luck with your home.
I am pleased to see that you were able to return home safely and that all is good with your property. Certainly, a very scary situation.
I must say, though, that every time I look at this photo, the more amazed I am with what is happening and the image itself. I certainly hope you publish this somehow... it is an incredible photo! It would certainly make a great wall-hanger! Or, the cover of some magazine. Great job!
Excellent - that is why they say "never go anywhere without your camera". Do hope you all and your property are alright.
