Beautiful shot. The weather added mood to the grandeur!

Appreciate it very much - and yes it did! There was lightening but I didn't have the gear (or time) to set up and try to catch it but oh my would it have made my day!

Great series, you made that enormous hole in the ground look beautiful and yes, I have been to the Grand Canyon, it didn't look as good as you made it look.

Wow, I feel as if my pics fell short of what I saw with my own eyes. It could have been the weather - I love shooting in cloudy conditions anyway. Thank you though!

So think about the Grand Canyon and then think about the photos you got in Sedona. While the Sedona photos were great they can't shine a light on well done G.C. photos which yours are. Now think about the trip to each.
In my opinion the G.C. is worth it, Sedona no longer is. (I was one of the posters that recommended that you pass on Sedona in favor of something more worthy)
I used to live in Flagstaff and am very familiar with both places. Hiked to the bottom and back in G.C. three times and spent a lot of time on lesser known trails. I love it. Same with Sedona, once upon a time. No longer. There are a lot of unspoiled places left in Arizona, Sedona is not one of them. (IMHO)
