I woke up at about 11:30 PM somehow knowing I needed to get up to the old Johnson place. It is way up in the Santa Rita mountains. I have talked to several locals about the place but they can never seem to find it.
Anyway I grabbed my Exakta SLR fitted with a Spiritual Max 666 f0.02, told my wife where I was going, loaded my ghost dog Murphy in the Jeep and headed east. I parked about 300 yards from the house and approached on foot. We were walking toward the house when suddenly Murphy's ears went up, his tail began to wag and he was off like a shot toward the house. When I got there I found this.
Ghosts don't often speak to me but this was one of those exceptions. He reached down, petted Murphy and said "The old Buford Place, on the night of the full moon, they will all be there." As I watched Jack just faded away.
Sounds like an active imagination, a blurry image would have work well at the entry door.

There wasn't anyone else there--except--look closely in the lower left corner. Will be on the plane for New Orleans in five minutes. More pictures and narrative to follow.
These are so cool! You have to share where you find your amazing equipment.

I was referring to your Spiritual Max 666. I couldn't find anything like it at Adorama.

I got the lens in 1958 from Insubstantial Photo in Body, California. They went out of business when the state took over and changed the ghost town to a tourist trap. You might check on eBay. The filters I found in my bedroom one morning with a note reading 'You'll need these if you are going to take
MY picture (signed) Jack. The CH3CH2OH film is supplied by somebody (something?). Four 36 exposure rolls in exchange for one liter of Everclear. Same for the processing, I leave the film in a special hollow tree with the Everclear and the photos appear in my bedroom. I can tell when they are coming because Murphy goes spectral and disappears for an hour or so.
Paranormal Labs went straight, was bought out by Abe's of Maine and now has their exclusive market for gray equipment in the EU.
Sorry I misunderstood your post I really hope this helps.
Be sure you get over to the old Buford place on the night of the full moon. You have piqued my interest. I'll be on pins and needles waiting to hear from you.
