Maybe get a macro shot of the leaves and bark. Call your local County extension and ask for Master Gardner Hotline, emailing them the pictures. Almost looks like a Bald Cyprus. Let us know what it turns out to be please.

Could be a northern white cedar. Google "pic of pine trees in Maryland" and you get a pdf. Scroll down and check.

Looks like a cypress of some sort to me. I have an Italian one in my yard. What do the cones, if any, look like?
