The greatest thing about a dog is that no matter how badly I've screwed up the day and how down I feel about something I've done, when I sit in my chair and he lays his head on my lap everything is right with the world

What if my dog only brings back my ball because he thinks I like throwing it?

I could have had a brutal day at work. I could have be stuck in traffic for an hour and a half. I could have been yelled at by a dozen or so angry and upset people. When I ordered lunch in on a rainy day, it could have been delivered late only to find out it was the wrong meal.

All of that pales in comparison. When you come home, being greeted by a wagging tail melts all of your troubles. I LOVE DOGS! Here are my two dogs. Bentley is my Labrador/Dalmation and Lucy is my Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog.

I think I have the answer. Our daughter had a black Lab that loved to play Frisbee. Often no one had time for her, so she learned to throw the Frisbee with a jerk of the head and then ran and caught it!

Look at the love in Lucy's eyes. It says it all
