Do any members have one of these bags and have they had any problems with the quality of the material used in construction.

Had a tear once, took it to my shoe repair guy who used a surge machine and fixed it. I tend to overload my bags just a bit, did not blame the bag.

Not sure about the Cooper design, Bri - but I have a Messenger - which is similar. Very rugged bag. In all - I have just over a dozen Tenba bags. Their construction is supreme. Never had any problems with the material. However, the plastic clasp on one of my MIXX Kit Bags - bent, from the weight. Had it been metal, of course - could've bent it back with a plier. But, with the clasp being plastic - wasn't much I could do. Wound up stapling some of those plastic cable snap-locks around the two connectors - which worked out fine. They're even a dark color, so they blend in with the blue and black tones of the MIXX Kit Bag. I have 4 MIXX Kit Bags, six MIXX Tall single-camera bags, 2 Vector Single-Camera Bags, a Vector Shoulder Bag, a Discovery Kit Bag, and the Messenger Kit Bag. How many's that? Fifteen, right? ALL Tenbas ….

I still have and use my ORANGE tenba bags from my film photojournalist days shooting for UPI. I have had them dry cleaned more times than I can remember. I also got the Tenba shoulder pad for my bags because, like you, I tended to overload them.

Tenbas are used by many video professionals. They are really picky, and their bags get a lot of heavy use.

My Tenba Messenger is a sort of rust color, Bill (orange, if you will) and two of my Tenba MIXX Tall Bags - designed so you can put in a camera with a long lens attached (say 300mm to 500mm) - are also orange accented (I like to call it gold!) plus one of my Tenba MIXX Kit Bags - is the same color combination. Hey! I'm all for color, in a bag … my Vector Shoulder bag (camera w/ lens, and two extra lenses) - plus one of my Vector single-camera bags - are both green (Tenba calls it Krypton Green) and the other Vector single-camera bag is scarlet (Tenba calls it Cadmium Red) … plus, two of my Lowepro kit bags - Nova Sport series (designed for taking on a boat, or skiing, or snowmobiling, or mountain-climbing) are luminescent orange (LowePro calls it Pepper Red) … I mean - who needs boring black, all the time???

I have used a Cooper 13 slim for 3 years. It is my ‘city’ and holiday bag, accommodating an XPro2 and 4 lenses (90, 50, 23 and 14mm) along with spare batteries, cards and a filter or two. It has enough spare capacity to hold travel documents and a book when flying. The bag is extremely well made, discreet and practical. Not cheap but quality never is. If you use a fuji or micro 4/3 system, this bag should be given very serious consideration.

I have used two Tenba bags since the 80's and they are still perfect, can't go wrong.
