Off to Canada in August..... cruising Alaska, up to Denali Nat Park, spending time camping in the Rockies than cruising from Vancouver to Hawaii and spending 7 days there. I have the options of 3 lens to take......Sony 24-70 f2.8, 24-105 f4 0r Sony 70-200 f4
To take all 3 would be a real load. Any suggestions please what to take
Thanks

Well if you can't take all three then the latter two should do it! Make sure to bring a raincoat for you and your gear.

I am amateur newbie. I haven't been to those places and haven't used those lenses.
However, it looks like you have two options:
1) Taking the 24-70 and the 70-200
2) Taking only the 24-105

Personally, I think you should define how much this is a "photography trip" (option 1) or just a vacation during which you will take some photos (option 2)

It depends a lot on what activities you want to do during your camping trip.

Because you move around a lot, I would take only 24-70 mm f/2.8 if weight is an issue. It is perfect for landscape photography both in the Canadian Rockies and Denali NP (I have been to both) and for an unforgettable aerial tour over the Denali NP (if you want to do that). If your camera is a crop frame and you like wildlife photography, bring 70-200, even which is barely enough for bears, caribou, whale, orca, ...

You are from NZ, then the Canadian Rockies and Alaska are very much the same breathtaking landscape as Franz Josef Glacier, Milford Sound, and Mount Aspiring National Park of the Southern Alps. Photography paradise!

Take the 24-105, which will stay on the camera almost 95% of the time and the 70-200 for wildlife.

I would agree with that, assuming that you are shooting full frame. The 24-105 is a great landscape lens. (This is a superb lens that is on my A7III all the time.) For landscapes, f/4 is more than adequate. The 24-105 also is a bit lighter than the 24-70 GM. If you really like long landscape shots take the 70-200 as well. I certainly would be tempted to take it along.

definitely 70-200 and maybe a 1.4 teleconverter. Either of the other two . Don't get too close to the bears, you might get a great photo but it could be your last.

Unfortunately, the Sony teleconverters are not compatible with the Sony 70-200 f/4.

I had the same question when we went to Alaska last month. I didn't want to schlep 3 lenses because of the weight. But, I did and I don't regret it. I got unforgettable shots with my heaviest lens of a moose. Im so glad I had that lens. Being a trip of the lifetime, I didn't want to miss out on a possible great shot.

The 24-70 f2.8 for landscape. The 70-200 f4 for wild-life. Or else leave the FF behind, sell the 24-105 f4 and buy a travel camera. Have fun!

Keep the 24-105 on your camera full time. Leave the other two at home.
IMHO, I only take my pocket Sony HX99V, shoots raw, pop up viewfinder acts like a DSLR, 24-720 MM Zeiss T* lens, shoots auto fill flash, has a 6 stop built in HDR. What else could you ask for. I get beautiful 20X30 prints. I put my camera in a belt pouch so I am hands free. It is now my ONLY travel camera.
Check it out for yourself.

Take the 24-70mm and the 70-200mm. The 24-70 will be perfect for a "walk around" lens (good for landscape, people, glaciers, etc). The 70-200 mm gives you the reach needed to shoot animals at a distance (or animals that you want to keep at a distance!).
