Another hover fly. I hadn't seen before, or if I did, didn't know it.
It makes a pretty good imitation of a wasp , at a glance.

It sure looks like a wasp Victor, never seen a hover fly that looks like that... nice shot...

Are you sure it's a hover fly, Victor? It looks like a wasp to me. Anyway, whether it's a fly or a wasp, it's still an excellent shot.

Thanks Doc. It looked weird, but when I saw it on the screen it was clear that it was a fly, so I looked it up.

Those hover flies are sure good at imitating bees & wasps!
