Nice, I never learned to roller skate. My two oldest boys know how to roller skate but preferred to do the roller blading. The roller skate rink here in Modesto closed approx. 20 years ago an was turned into storage units.

Great memories. I used to love roller skating, but I had the clamp on type steel ones.

Me too, sure were hard on shoe soles. Fortunately there was usually one person in the group with a key in their pocket. Ran across a rusty one not long ago when cleaning out some drawers.
