For those who take the time to look into the specs of Pentax dslr's, they are just as good and in some cases better than the big three.
Thank you, I've had several Pentax cameras, K-1000, K-X, currently K-50. Only one that died was the K-X. Still have the others. (There is another film Pentax that I still have, Semi-automatic. Don't remember the model number.)

Back a few years I read about a wonderful third party, (shall remain nameless), item that let your camera do a fancy thing. For months I kept reading a watching videos about how good "it" was.
Being convinced that I wanted that ability, I called the manufacture to ask why they didn't have a Pentax model. They told me it was because Pentax already had it.
Since that time I've been more careful and noticed several abilities Pentax has that others don't.
I'll stay with Pentax, thank you.
