Very pretty flowers. I love macro shots too. I love the green leaf, it looks like a butterfuly. He is one that I did.

Very nice. If I may say something without offending you, I would take the shot one step further by "cleaning up" the image. If you'll notice the specks of dirt & so on in the image... they are detractors from what would otherwise be a great shot. I would take the time to make the shots as pristine as possible.

Beautiful Macro shots! Could you say what lens you are using? Thanks

Although I have a Sigma Macro lens, I find that I can get better macros using my other 2 long zoom cameras(Panasonic FZ50 & Kodak Z990). The very nature of their lens design allows for slightly more depth of field than I would normally get using the APS-C macro lens. Despite being a smaller sensor I can utilize software that allows me to clean up my images & remove JPEG artifacts. I can blow up images taken with the small sensor cameras to 30" with no problems!

I am not in the least bit offended. Ha!
I would like to play with it, I just pulled it from my pics. Maybe I have an excuse to do so now. Thanks! Will try. :-D

Hi, geopapa - - hope I'm not offending either, but the "little specks, dirt and so on" on that shot could actually be pollen - - from a Botanical Illustrator - - can you tell?

I understand. Personally, I just prefer to present my images as an art form... for me it has to be exceptionally clean. Even my b&W's & color scenery shots have been cleaned to some degree, sharpened, enhanced & so on. I never present images without some work applied to them.
I guess I'm simply not satisfied, being a graphic designer, unless I can make it better. : )

Forgot... I have no idea what's on it. I can barely name the flowers I photograph.: )

Will you allow other Hedgehoggers to post macro flower photos?

Great macro shots! I may have to go buy me some flowers just to shoot them!
